I upgraded to the D600 from the D40. I worked with the camera myself for about 6 months and got stunning results. This book was great. The deeper menu settings are covered individually so you can understand what they mean. He gets a little wordy to me, but I love the friendly tone of the book. I got it for Kindle and enjoyed it. If you are coming from a D90/D200/300/7000 etc and you have already read a book like this. This may be a little pointless. You would probably know most of whats in here and be able to pick up the missing pieces on the internet for free. LL IN ll I highly recommend this book for someone new to this grade of camera. I think its also great for people who switch from other brands, you may know most of this stuff from our old cameras but this book will help you quickly migrate to the D600 frame of mind.
