Simply wonderful color reproduction and ode to the state of modern printing, this is a truly marvelous publication, devoted to the artist Dufy, an extremely prolific artist, who managed to paint 4,500 oils and watercolors in a career that spanned almost 60 years. Just to prove that he wasn't idle in that time period, he also managed 800 etchings and lithographs for book illustrations and woodcuts. A marvelously talented artist. Read more
